Where They Go We All Go, 2025
Oil on Linen
43 x 58
Oil on Linen
Born into this earthy delight, the body, wandering around
An all encompassing experience
Divine interconnection, mirroring patterns with nature
I cannot fully comprehend, nor am I supposed to yet.
When the spirit leaves, I see one passing
Leaving, sadness and grief, the wonder, pain and liberation
“Where they go we all go” they say to me,
visitors that continue on their journey
“Where they go we all go” they said,
And those words brought comfort for a moment.
– A poem written by Divya Melaluca about her painting
Divya Melaluca was born in the beautiful land of Australia, where her experiences of the land continue to influence her paintings. Divya has Studied with Odd Nerdrum, her husband Alex Venezia, and at the Lyme Academy of Fine Arts. She continues to be inspired by experiences in nature and expresses her mysticism through her work.
