NOTICE: Drop-ins are now welcome to the figure group for a $20 fee! Please note that registrants for the full month are guaranteed priority easel placement for all sessions, while drop-in participants will be accommodated on a space-available basis week to week (always welcome just not guaranteed the same spot each week). The drop-in fee can be paid in person via cash (preferable) or card.
Our open studio figure drawing and painting sessions offer artists of any skill level the opportunity to work from live models within a beautiful studio setting. Develop a drawing or painting over the course of a multi week pose with access to NSMA’s inspiring collection and surroundings as you work.
The group is not instructed, although a monitor will be present to set the pose, keep time, and work alongside participants. Attendees are responsible for bringing their own art supplies.
