Our open studio portrait drawing and painting sessions offer artists of any skill level the opportunity to work from live models within a beautiful studio setting. Develop a drawing or painting over the course of a multi week pose with access to NSMA’s inspiring collection and surroundings as you work.

Please note that this group meets for two sessions in November and three sessions in December (all with the same model, same pose).

Due to the demand for this group, we unfortunately cannot accept drop-ins.

The group is not instructed, although a monitor will be present to set the pose, keep time, and work alongside participants. Attendees are responsible for bringing their own art supplies.
