Creating a stronghold for contemporary realist art with uncompromising levels of quality and craftsmanship, the New Salem Museum and Academy of Fine Art:
Draws inspiration from old masterworks while paying close attention to what is happening with the art of our time
Offers the public the opportunity to view works of art that would otherwise remain in private hands
Fosters a community of artists, patrons, collectors, and dealers, encouraging them to learn from one another
Provides students with a rare opportunity to study with world renowned artists in class and workshop settings
ACADEMY
NSMA’s third floor academy offers a stunning environment for artists to study in class and workshop settings with world-renowned artists. Open studio figure drawing groups are offered weekly
