“Parts of the Grapevine draws from the comedy of indulgence and myth, where the swilling and swelling of information intoxicates more than it illuminates, generating and circulating endlessly – can somebody PLEASE tell me what is going on? Truth has not disappeared, but has become hidden within excess.
“We have built our mountain of sweet, sweet sugar. The only way to eat is down.”
Sean Lee, the youngest of three siblings, spent his childhood living abroad throughout Southeast Asia as was demanded by his father’s career. Frequently moving instilled a lasting curiosity about human nature and its diverse expressions. He currently lives in Brooklyn with his partner Erin – whose love and support sustain him.
